Please could you tell me what date the bonfire will be on. Over the last few years my dogs have become more and more terrified due to the ridiculously loud bangs and I want to take them away from it all. Last year one was traumatised for months and would not settle at night.

Thank you S. Hunt for your question. The bonfire wil be held on Saturday 2nd November. The fireworks will start @ 7:00pm & 8:00pm, ish.
I'm sorry if you have to take such drastic action. As dog owner myself, I do undrestand your problem. I have a "rescued" german shepherd, who originally was the biggest "chicken" you ever saw. However, over the last couple of years he has become a bit more .... confident!
Can I ask, and I don't intend any criticism, what is your personal opiniom of bonfires and fireworks? Because if you don't like them yourself, your dog(s) are less likely to get used to them! They do follow your lead...
